DIY stores: quick and flexible

There are exceptions for certain outlets, such as at petrol stations and railway stations, but they only carry a very limited range.
How to avoid running short at the weekend:
- On Friday, check what materials you need for Monday and get any missing parts on Saturday.
- Keep a stock of small parts in the vehicle: screws, wall plugs, bits, cable ties, fuses.
- Order online for delivery at the start of the week if it isn't urgent.
Storing materials safely
Leaving tools in the van overnight is a risk. Check with the client whether there is a lockable container or room on site.
